The Everest University First-Year Experience is a comprehensive program of events and activities that assist students in becoming familiar with Everest University and developing the necessary college skills to thrive while attending Everest University. The FYE schedule of events and activities continues over a 10-month period – from contact during New Student Orientation in August through completing the first year of study at Everest University in May.
The Everest University First-Year Experience links incoming students with the institution and faculty, staff, and other incoming students.
A structured half-day program offered during August and January that offers new students the opportunity to connect with faculty and staff and become familiar with the Everest University campus and the array of academic and campus life programs available.
At Everest University, Welcome Week is a week-long experience with various daily activities.
From 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, students can stop by building 7 to enjoy free arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, photo opportunities, lunches, and sweet treats, all for free. To top off the week, students can go to one of Florida’s beautiful springs for the day and enjoy time on the water with their old and new friends. Soon after these festivities, Club Rush is held on campus, allowing students to sign up for every club that piques their interest. Welcome Week is a time to meet up with old friends, introduce yourself to new ones, and enjoy the experience while preparing to succeed in a new semester. We can’t wait to see you there!

Spirit Week is a week-long celebration of Timberwolf pride and spirit. All week, students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to celebrate the green and gold of Everest University. We have planned a week-long series of events celebrating our Spirit Week theme that includes opportunities for first-year students to participate in NEW Everest University traditions and enjoy several social events on campus. Spirit Week 2024 will take place February 24th – March 2nd . The week culminates with a home flag football game against our toughest in-state rivals!
