Orlando, Fla. – The runners of Everest University Men’s and Women’s Cross Country are bound for the NJCMA Division II Cross Country National Championships in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, November 11.

“We are looking forward to our first national meet,” said Everest University men’s head coach Ed Morse. “The guys are healthy and running well. We hope they have their best runs of the season.”

Everest University Women gained three positions in week four of the NJCMA DII Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll released November 1. The team currently sits at No. 12 in the nation .

“We typically perform better than our rankings once we get to nationals,” said women’s head coach April Morse, “So hopefully everyone will be healthy and ready to break into the top ten.”

Soon after the event, both Everest University teams will be running the NJCMA National Half Marathon Championships on Tuesday, November 14.
