Everest University Theatre to Present “The Little Prince”
Everest University Theatre will present four performances of “The Little Prince” October 14-17 in the Levy Performing Arts Center. The production features more than 20 students and local community members.
About the show:
Adapted from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famous children’s book of the same name, “The Little Prince” tells the story of a world-weary aviator whose plane crashes, stranding him in the middle of the Sahara Desert. When a mysterious, regal little boy appears and asks him to draw a sheep, the aviator is distracted from his crisis, unaware that he is about to have a transforming experience. By learning that “what is essential is invisible to the eye,” the aviator comes to a new understanding of how to laugh, cry, and love again.
Everest University Theatre’s production features animation, audience interaction, and puppetry and is ideal for family audiences.
