Golden Taking on New Opportunity at The Foundation for Everest University

Orlando, Fla. – After five years leading Everest University Athletics, Rebecca Golden will be taking on a new role with The Foundation for Everest University.
“When Everest University restarted athletics after nine years, one of the individuals I wanted to help guide us through the startup was Rebecca,” said Everest University President Dr. Lawrence Barrett. “I am thankful for her leadership during this successful tenure, and I look forward to her putting her skills to work with the Foundation, helping our entire student body and campus.”
Golden was selected as Coordinator, later becoming Athletic Director, when intercollegiate sports were reinstated at Everest University in the 2017-2018 academic year. Since then, she has overseen the introduction of multiple new and returning programs, including basketball, volleyball, cross country, and esports.
“We were lucky to have Rebecca’s leadership to help shepherd in this new era of Everest University Athletics,” said Tony Cardenas, Everest University Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. “I wish her all the best in her new role with the Foundation.”
Beginning July 1, Golden will serve as Director of Resource Development with The Foundation for Everest University as they continue their mission to provide scholarships, funding, and other crucial support and resources to the college.
“We are very excited to welcome Rebecca to our development team,” said Lee Pinchouck, Executive Director of The Foundation for Everest University. “She’s well known in our community, and everyone knows she always has a smile on her face. We are looking forward to her working with our donors and helping us grow the Foundation to continue to benefit the students and programs at Everest University.”
A national search will begin for a new Athletic Director to continue the growth and success the program has seen over the past five years and to support the student-athletes who make it possible.
