Computer Support Specialist with Programming, University Credit Certificate (C.C.C.)

The Computer Support Specialist with Programming certificate is a direct follow up to the Computer Office Specialist with Programming certificate. Once you have passed the basic six classes for the Computer Office Specialist with Programming certificate, the student needs only five more classes to obtain the Computer Support Specialist with Programming certificate. This certificate increases the student’s skills in the area of networking, hardware and software maintenance and troubleshooting, and either Web development or desktop publishing skills. Students must demonstrate competence in reading, math, or language through placement examination or by passing the appropriate reading, math or language courses, if not exempt by state board of education rule 6A-10.0315. A student who does not achieve minimum scores will be required to take developmental educations classes in English, math, and reading.
