Students must demonstrate competence in reading, math, or language through placement examination or by passing the appropriate reading, math or language courses, if not exempt by state board of education rule 6A-10.0315. A student who does not achieve minimum scores will be required to take developmental educations classes in English, math, reading, and SLS 1501 the University Experience.

Students must have a high school diploma or GED certificate and take a placement exam, if not exempt by the State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.0315.
This program requires 18 credits and can be completed in two semesters at full-time student status.
Upon successful completion of this certificate, graduates have earned over half of the
Environmental Science Technician University Credit Certificate and nearly a third of the required
coursework for Everest University’s M.S. in Environmental Science Technology.
