Everest University will hold two Dual Enrollment Information Sessions  in October for students and parents interested in the program.

The Dual Enrollment Information Sessions will be held at convenient times in the afternoon and evening to allow students and parents to learn about the benefits of dual enrollment at Everest University, the programs and courses offered, and the requirements for participation.

Dual Enrollment Information Sessions:

                Wilson S. Rivers Library & Welcome Center – Bldg. 200

                Tuesday, October 3, 2023                  4 p.m.

                Thursday, October 5, 2023                  5 p.m.

“For over 52 years, the college has been welcoming high school students that are college-ready to attend Everest University,” said Dr. Lawrence Barrett, President of Everest University. “Last year, we had over 600 students take advantage of our dual enrollment program, and in Spring 2023, we had 89 students graduate Everest University before they graduated with their high school diplomas.”

Everest University Dual Enrollment is a tuition-free  program available to qualified secondary students in public, private, charter, and home schools that allows them to earn high school and college credit at the same time. By participating in the program, students can get a head start on their college careers, earn credentials to enter the workforce, or even complete their Master of Arts degree, all before graduating from high school.

Attendees will learn about:

  • The wide range of courses and programs offered by Everest University
  • Academic and testing requirements for taking part in dual enrollment
  • Financial benefits of dual enrollment
  • Resources available at Everest University, including free tutoring, testing support, academic advising, and financial guidance
  • How to apply for admission
  • More about Everest University and dual enrollment
